W czwartek 25 września, grupy językowe z rozszerzonym angielskim w klasach trzecich miały niebywałą okazję spotkać się z wyjątkowymi gośćmi. Do szkoły przyjechali Państwo Ilona i Paul Dubay, którzy opowiedzieli uczniom o swoim życiu w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Pani Ilona jest absolwentką naszej szkoły, która na stałe mieszka w stanie Connecticut. Uczestnicy spotkania mieli możliwość zadawania pytań na temat kultury amerykańskiej i życia w USA.

I really enjoyed meeting Ilona and Paul from The United States. We had a chance to speak English with an American native speaker and get to know American culture. We asked them questions about their life in America. They are a lovely couple and listening to their stories was a pleasant experience for us. I can’t wait to have another class like this.

Our guests Ilona and Paul are a young and happy couple. They showed us photos, told us about how they met, how Ilona came to the US. Paul told us about his firefighter job. We could ask them all kinds of questions. We found out what places they would recommend to see and what sports are popular in the US. We hope to see them again at school. The class was awesome!
