W kwietniu br. uczniowie klasy Ia wraz z nauczycielką języka angielskiego p. Anną Kubską napisali list do królowej Wielkiej Brytanii Elżbiety II, w którym zaprosili ją do naszej szkoły.

5 maja otrzymali odpowiedź, którą w imieniu Jej Królewskiej Wysokości wysłała pani Helen Cross – sekretarz królowej.

Dear Mrs. Kubska,

The Queen has asked me to thank you for your letter in which you and your students invite Her Majesty to your school in Poland.

The Queen was most grateful to you all for this kind of invitation but I am afraid she is unable to accept as she has no plans to visit Poland in the near future.

 

I am sorry to have to send you this disappointing response but Her Majesty has asked me to send her best wishes to you all with this letter.
